Over nearly four decades, he provided comprehensive care to countless pets and their families in Central Illinois, building lasting trust through his expertise, dedication, and genuine love for animals. He was of the Catholic faith.
In his leisure time, Alan pursued a variety of passions that brought him joy and adventure. He was an avid golfer with two holes in one, angler and bowler, relishing the camaraderie and relaxation these activities offered. He enjoyed bulldozing the land that he owned near Victoria, IL. As a licensed private pilot, Alan fulfilled a lifelong dream by piloting aircraft on numerous fly-in fishing expeditions to the remote wilderness lakes of Canada – trips that combined his love of aviation, the thrill of the outdoors, and the serenity of pristine fishing spots. These journeys remained some of his most treasured experiences.
