Douglas R. Sondag

Douglas Ray Sondag, 46, of 209 E. State St. passed away at 9:18 pm Monday, September 22, 2008, in the Pekin Hospital Emergency Room. He was born October 28, 1961, in Havana, IL to Irvin A. and Ruth (Vance) Sondag. Surviving Doug are his mother, Ruth of Manito; two daughters, April Marie Sondag of Manito and Samantha Nicole Sondag of Glendale, AZ; one son, Brian Douglas Sondag of Glendale, AZ; two sisters, Theresa L. (and Jeff) Mickens of Spring Bay, IL and Susan (and Tim) Hill of Manito; six brothers, Edward J. (and Connie) of Minooka, IL; Steven K. (and Tracy) of Braidwood, IL, Daniel L., Timothy W., John (and Tara), and Mark (and Tobi) all of Manito; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father Irvin on May 23, 1999 in Manito. Doug worked as a Plasterer for Dan Woiwode Plastering in Forest City and John Sondag Plastering of Manito. He dearly loved his children April, Samantha and Brian. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Manito.
