Dorothy A. Mcleese

Dorothy A. McLeese, 98, of Pekin passed away at 6:46 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Pekin Manor. Dorothy was born on September 30, 1918 in Casselton, North Dakota to Alfred V. and Anna M. (Larson) Alfs. She married Kenneth D. McLeese on December 28, 1976 in Las Vegas. She was preceded in death are her husbands, parents, and seven sisters. Surviving are: one son, Richard L. Freed of Pekin; one daughter, Sheron (Don) Lounsberry of Pekin; one step-son, Ronald (Martha) McLeese of North Carolina; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. Dorothy worked at the Credit Bureau of Pekin for 18 years retiring in 1976. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Eagles Auxiliary and Women of the Moose. Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, June 9, 2017 Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Rev. Brian Byrne officiating. Cremation has been accorded.
