Donna L. Gardner-Carney

Donna L. Gardner-Carney, 71, of Pekin, IL passed away at 12:44 AM Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria, IL. Donna was born on July 22, 1951 in Pekin to Dale M. and Helen (Klein) Smith. She married Randy Carney on February 2, 2013 in Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are: her husband, Randy of Pekin; one son Aaron J. Gardner of Mt. Holly, NC; one daughter, Jamie Gardner-Vittatoe of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Michael, Morgan and Meredith Vittatoe; two brothers, Delmer (Iris) Smith of Herrin, IL and Dean Smith of Delavan, IL; one sister, Sharon Rettke of Pekin. Donna worked in jewelry sales for many years. She loved her family. Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation celebrating Donnas life will be from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory.
