It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis "Denny" Wightman, who left this world on December 18, 2025, in West Chester, Ohio. Born on December 12, 1950, in Coventry, England, Denny lived a life rich in love, laughter, and purpose.

Denny was the embodiment of a protector and provider for his family, consistently demonstrating a generosity of spirit that touched everyone he encountered. His career was marked by many diverse financial leadership roles, evolving from business management to financial consulting, ultimately achieving the esteemed position of Chief Financial Officer. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Denny loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and dedicated his time to volunteering at Grace Bible Presbyterian Church, immersing himself in personal and group Bible studies, and contributing to the church community that he cherished greatly.

A father with a delightful sense of humor, Denny filled the home with laughter through his corny dad jokes. His light-hearted antics, such as impressing his children by stuffing an entire cupcake into his mouth, created countless cherished memories that will long be remembered. An avid sports fan, Denny found joy in golf, tennis, and fishing, often sharing these passions with those close to him. He had a notable enthusiasm for fast cars and loved to travel with his wife, including returned visits to his homeland, England.

Denny is survived by his beloved wife, Malinda Wightman; his loving children, Anthony (Cheryl) Wightman, Emily (Phil) Van Cleve, and Jimmy Wightman; and his cherished grandchildren, Reece Van Cleve, Neilan Van Cleve, and London Wightman. He is also remembered fondly by his nephew Bobby Meyer, along with many dear in-laws, nieces, and nephews who were touched by his kindness and warmth.

He was preceded in death by his son Tommy Wightman, his parents Robert and Gladys Wightman, his sister Hilary Meyer, along with brother-in-law John Meyer, his parents-in-law Stan and Clara Zimmerman, his aunt Marie Zaayenga, and sister-in-law Robin Zimmerman.
