Debra L. Murphy

Debra Murphy, 67, of Chillicothe, IL passed away at 7:47 PM Sunday, October 4, 2026 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Debra was born on September 15, 1959 in Pekin, IL to John H. and Judy L. (Champion) Murphy Jr.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Murphy.

Surviving are: her significant other of many years, Harry Rohleder; her father, John Murphy Jr. of Manito, IL; one son, Daniel (Melissa) Switzer of Pekin; two daughters, Jennifer (Jon) Weibring of Dunlap, IL and Jaime (Michael Killebrew) Switzer of Pekin; three grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan and Elias; two sisters, Darcie (Byron) Boudreauz of Carencro, LA and Denise (Mike) Gilbert of Pekin.

Debra enjoyed doing genealogy research and antiquing.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation will be accorded. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Debra’s arrangements.
