Debra J. Emmons

Debra J. Emmons, 70, of Marquette Heights, IL passed away at 12:18 PM Friday, December 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Debra was born on September 12, 1954 in Lincoln, IL to Roderick and Alta (Rusk) Parr. She is preceded in death by her mother, Alta. Surviving are: her father, Roderick Parr of Pekin; two sons, Troy (Robin) Sayles of Pekin and Mark (Nicole) Sayles of Marquette Heights; three grandchildren, Dakota, Mckenzy and Draven; three great grandchildren, Liam, Samuel and Amelia; one brother, Roderick "Buster" (Karen) Parr of Pekin; one sister, Cindy (Robert) Plemmons of Pekin. She was the restaurant manager at Pekin Hospital for many years. She enjoyed playing bunco and Softball. She was an avid fan of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM 11:00 AM Thursday. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to T.A.P.S., 100 TAPS Ln, Pekin, IL 61554.
