Deborah J. Siegler

Deborah J. Siegler, 70, of Pekin, IL passed away at 11:45 AM Monday, October 25, 2021 at St. Elizbeth Hospital in Appleton, WI. Debbie was born on July 4, 1951 in Peoria, IL to Lionel and Betty (Koch) Maquet. She married Jeffery Siegler on July 21, 1973 in Pekin. Her parents preceded her in death. Surviving is: her husband, Jeff of Pekin; two sons, Jason (Anne) Siegler of Homewood, IL and Ben Siegler of Pekin, IL; two grandchildren, Jude Siegler and Miriam Siegler both of Homewood, IL; one brother, David (Billie) Maquet of Pekin. Debbie was a 3rd grade teacher for Pekin Public Schools District #108. She retired in 2012 from Dirksen School. She was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, reading and kayaking. Debbie and Jeff attended many concerts together over the years. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Bears. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Jim McClary officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
