Deborah Jean Mckenzie

Deborah Jean McKenzie, 72, of East Peoria passed away at 5:02 pm, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born in Peoria to Walter James and Dona Jean (Rosenberger) McKenzie Jr. They preceded her in death, along with one sister, Cheryl McKenzie. Deb is survived by; two sons, Branden (Kristy) Adkins of Geneva, IL and Ryan (Michele) Dean of Marquette Heights; three grandchildren, Timmy Zack, Adkins and Emily Dean; and one sister, Connie McKenzie of Peoria. She was a member of Oak Grove Bible Church in East Peoria. She worked as a bookkeeper for Washington Community High School and also worked for her dad. Deb enjoyed exercising and love to dance. She was an avid reader. A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Oak Grove Bible Church in East Peoria with Pastor Cliff Elliott officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association 55 W.
