David L. Pettijohn

David L. Pettijohn, 73, of Peoria, IL passed away at 2:05 PM Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Morton Terrace Centre. David was born on September 13, 1942 in Carmi, IL to Theodore and Nigel (Dutton) PettiJohn. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Morris Pettijohn and one nephew, Andrew 'Andy' Pettijohn. Surviving are: three sons, Paul (Victoria) Pettijohn of Pekin, Timothy Pettijohn of Bartonville, IL and Michael Pettijohn of Metamora, IL; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Godsey, Kaitlyn Bowers, Tori Guppy, Challen and Krystina Harris; one sister, Hazel Horton of Carmi, IL. David worked at Avanti's for over 21 years. He was avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Cremation will be accorded with inurnment in Zion Cemetery at Lincoln, IL at a later date. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
