David C. Kott

David Cosmos Kott, 86, of Arlington, TN formerly of Pekin, IL passed away at 12:05 AM Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his home. David was born September, 29, 1929 in Portage, WI to Alex Alocious and Elizabeth Mary (Jackson) Kott. He married Rosemarie Flynn on September 10, 1960 in Chicago, IL. She preceded him in death on September 15, 2013. Surviving are: two daughters, Joanne (Wayne) Kott-Gann of Arlington, TN and Sharon Kott of Peoria, IL; two sons, Bernie (Robi) Kott of Greenville, NC and David A. Kott of Illinois; four grandchildren, Jake Emmons, Justin Emmons, Gabriel Kott and Taylor Kott; one brother, Richard Kott of Fort Washington, MD. David was a veteran of the United States Airforce serving during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin with Father Michael Andrejek officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday Feb. 17 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. A second Mass will be at Noon on Friday, February 19 at St. Christopher Catholic Church 4130 W. 147th St. Midlothian, IL 60445. Burial with military honors by the United States Airforce will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association Central Illinois Chapter 612 West Glen Avenue, Peoria, IL 61614.
