David G. Kaczmarek

David G. Kaczmarek, 84, of Leaf River, IL passed away at 9:50 PM Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Snyder Village in Metamora, IL. David was born on August 19, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Eugene and June (Heidabrink) Kaczmarek. He married Marsha Steger on August 21, 1965 in Steger, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are: his wife Marsha of Metamora; one son, David (Anne) Kaczmarek of Mapleton, IL; three grandchildren, Connor, Abbigail and Benjamin; one great granddaughter, Ivy Mae Oltman; one sister, Debra Quill of Houston, TX; one niece, Kelly Scarcliff. David was a project manager for IBM. He was of the Catholic faith, member of NRA and was a WWII buff. Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Heather Robertson officiating. Visitation will be a half hour before the service. Inurnment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Childrens Hospital of Illinois or the American Red Cross.
