Danny Dile

Danny Dile, 64, of Pekin, passed away at 7:00pm, Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Peoria. He was born September 15, 1952 in Greensburg, KY to Moss and Ruth (Neagle) Dile. He married Penny Thomas in May of 1979 in Pekin. She survives and was his caretaker. He was preceded in death by his parents. Danny is survived by Penny; one daughter, Jessica Dile of Knightstown, IN.; two sons, Jason Brooks of Peoria, and Joel (Monica) Brooks of Washburn, IL; one grandson, Noah Brooks; one niece Tiffany (Tom) Baker; great-nephew Lucas Baker; one-great niece, Payton Baker; and one brother, Donnie (Debra) Dile of Pekin. Danny worked as an auto mechanic at Ray Dennison Chevrolet in Pekin. He was an avid NASCAR and NHRA fan. He loved to ride motorcycles and eat chocolate. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
