Daniel Alan West

Daniel Alan 'Danny' West, 63 formerly of Peoria, passed away at 3:45 am Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at El Paso Health Care Center. Danny was born August 5, 1945 in Bera, OH to Harry and Mabel(Green)West. He is survived by three sons; Daniel Alan (Janelle)West Jr. of Oceanside, CA, David (Sherry)West of Roanoke, IL, and Patrick (Samantha)West of Bartonville, IL; four daughters, Jennifer West of Roanoke, IL Kimberly Hines of Paradise, CA, Angela West of Metamora, IL and Sky (Bryan)Hordell of Bushnell, IL; three sisters and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Danny was known by his friends as 'One Day Dan'.He loved to fish and hunt.One of Danny's favorite sayings was 'May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.He was a veteran of the United States Army.
