Dallas Buttry

Dallas Buttry, 94, of Pekin died at 5:10 pm Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at his home. Dallas was born in Norris City, IL on April 22, 1916 to Gilbert and Myrtle (Fraim) Buttry. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Arthur, one sister, Hazel Bishop and two nieces. Surviving are one nephew, Gary (Sue) Buttry and one niece, Barbara Martin both of Sullivan, IL and several great nieces and nephews. Dallas was a WW II veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Post #44 American Legion in Pekin. He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936. He loved to fish.
