Constance C. Arnold

Constance C. 'Connie' Arnold, 68, of Mason City, IL passed away at 11:00 PM Thursday, July3, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Connie was born on September 17, 1945 in Tremont, IL to Cyril and Addie (Hendershott) McDermid. She married Robert D. Arnold on July 25, 1981. Preceding in death are her parents, one brother, Bobbie McDermid and one grandson Jason Arnold. Surviving is: her husband, Bob of Mason City; four sons, Jim (Rache'l) Todd, Jack Todd and Jeff (Liz) Todd all of Pekin and David (Sheryll) Arnold of Colonial Beach, VA; three daughters, Jan Todd of Pekin, Melissa Merriman of Pleasant Plains, IL and Shelley (Mike) Cary of Springfield, IL; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Connie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mason City. She enjoyed volunteering at her church and for Meals on Wheels. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Mason City with Rev. Frank Brozenec officiating.Visitation will be from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Wednesday at the church. Cremation will be accorded with burial at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 10 at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. The arrangements have been entrusted to Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church 209 W. High Street, Mason City, IL 62664.
