Concetta "Tina" Gingotti

Concetta 'Tina' Gingotti, 89, of Pekin passed at 7:13 PM Saturday, November 16, 2019 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Tina was born on April 8, 1930 in Sala Di Caserta, Italy to Tommaso and Domenica (Capasso) Sanguedolce. She married August 'Junior' Gingotti on July 23, 1960. Preceding in death are her parents, one brother, Giovanni 'John' Sanguedolce, three sisters, Michelina Fusari, Riccardina Sanguedolce and Lucia Baysinger. Surviving are: her husband, Junior of Pekin; one brother, Michele (Antonietta) Sanguedolce of Springfield, IL; two sisters, Rita Burgener of Pekin and Maria (Domenico) Iannucci of Pekin; many nieces and nephews. Tina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Italian American Society of Peoria and a former member of the Pekin Emblem Club. She enjoyed fishing trips with Junior. She loved to dance and cook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 21, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Andrejek as Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 3:15 PM Wednesday with visitation from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
