Clyde Rockhold

Clyde D. Rockhold, 91 of Pekin, passed away on December 11, 2020 at 5:20 p.m. He was born on December 3, 1929 in Pekin, Illinois to Eugene and Francis (Elam) Rockhold. He married Dolores "Lori" Samms on March 8, 1951 in Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth Rockhold and Russell Rockhold. Surviving are his wife Lori of Pekin, one son, Randy (Chris) Rockhold of Pekin, and two daughters, Margo (Mark) Scamp of Pekin and Denise (Gene) Mandel of Hudson, Colorado. Also surviving are four grandsons. Dustin (Chelsea) Robbins of Littleton, Colorado, Geoff Scamp of Pekin, Cameron Mandel of Pullman, Washington and Tayler Mandel of Redmond, Washington. Two great grandchildren, Conrad and Ellie Robbins of Littleton, Colorado. He was a graduate of Pekin High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for Ameren/Cilco for 34 years, retiring in 1986. He loved golfing, wood carving, gardening, was an avid fisherman and was the King of Morel Mushroom Hunters. There will be no services and cremation rites have been accorded. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
