Clay Bennett Harper

Clay Bennett Harper, 22 of Pekin passed away at 11:00 pm, Monday, February, 26, 2024 in South Pekin. He was born in Pekin to Troy and Michelle (Wilson) Harper on June 8, 2001. Clay is survived by; his parents, Troy (Tracy) Harper, and Michelle Harper, both of Pekin; paternal grandparents, Ben and Bev Harper of Pekin; maternal grandparents, Gene Wilson and Nancy Wilson, both of Pekin; grandma Donna Fuelberth of Pekin; one brother, Mason (Vivian) Harper of Canton; and one sister; Kaylin Harper of Pekin. Clay worked as a machinist at Boley Tool. He enjoyed bull riding, hunting, fishing, and welding. He treasured time spent with his family and getting rowdy with his friends. A private Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024. A Celebration of Clays life with be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peoria Sportsmens Club for the kids fishing tournament in care of Rick Lord at 6404 Bass Rd, Manito, IL 61546.
