Clara B. Wasion

Clara B. Wasion, 88, of Pekin, passed away at 10:30 am Monday, October 19, 2009 at her home. She was born January 16, 1921 in Virden, IL to William and Anna (Wilson) Evans.She married Orval O. Wasion on June 15, 1940 in Palmyra, MO.He passed away March 11, 2007. She is survived by one son, Jerald (Christine) Wasion; three daughters, Patricia (Gerald) Gosnell, Joyce (Bob) Perkins, Janice (Mike) Franks all of Pekin; one brother, Glenn Evans of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Mary Francis White of Orlando, FL, and Emma Ferlin of Idaho; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother. Clara was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.She was an avid Cub fan.
