Christopher J. Benson, 55, of Pekin, IL passed away at 3:15 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at his home. Chris was born on November 11, 1964 in Peoria, IL to Warren Calvin and Joanne (Mullins) Benson. His father preceded him in death. Surviving are: his mother, Joanne of Chatham, IL; one brother, Brock Benson of Pekin; two sisters, Julie Ervin of Pekin and Cathy (Stephen) Svendsen of Manito, IL; several nieces and nephews. Chris enjoyed boating, fishing biking, RC cars and being out on the lake. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be followed.Inurnment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
