Chris Johnson, 33, of Canton, IL passed away at 12:25 PM Thursday, Mar. 27, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Chris was born on Oct. 14, 1980 in Peoria to William E. and Linda C. (Park) Johnson. Chris married Laurie Anderson on June 16, 2011 in Lewistown, IL. Preceding in death are parents and one sister, April Sue Beeney. Surviving is: Laurie Johnson of Canton; one step son, Tyler Goldring of Canton; one step daughter, Sarah Goldring of Canton; two brothers, Steven M. Johnson of Pekin and Bill (Judy) Johnson of North Pekin; one sister, Lynn (Coung) Vuong of Pontiac, IL. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 11 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Friday at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
