Charlotte F. Diemer

Charlotte F. Diemer, 91, of Pekin died at 12:30 am Thursday, April 29, 2010 at her home. Charlotte was born on April 29, 1919 in Chicago, IL to Charles E. and Nanny (Lindberg) Gustafson. She married Charles J. Diemer on August 13, 1966 in Elmwood Park, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Surviving are: her husband, Chuck of Pekin; two step sons, Gary (Cheryl) Diemer of Morton, IL and Kenneth (Holly) Diemer of North Lake, IL; four grandchildren, Matthew, Jeff, Danny and Nicole Diemer; one great grandchild, Cody Bucher. Charlotte was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Pekin. She worked at Federal Machine Co. in Chicago. She was a voracious reader and at one point in her life she would read a book a day.
