Catherine I. Wiebler

Catherine I. Wiebler 93, of Pekin, passed away at 2:15 am Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Pekin Manor She was born November 8, 1927 in Pekin to Henry "Dub" and Francis Irene Galvin Osterman. She married Robert S Wiebler on September 17, 1949. He passed away February 22, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael E. Wiebler, one sister and three brothers. Catherine is survived by one son, Robert (Tracy) Wiebler of LeClaire, Iowa; one daughter, Michele Bradley of Pekin; three sisters, Lillian Shaw of Florida, Annie (Bill) Meyers and Mary (Jack) Thomason both of Manito; four grandchildren, Stacie (Paul) Osborne, Brett (Dani) Wiebler, Lisa (Brian Smith) Meinders, Eric (Carlee) Meinders; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Catherine loved sports, she attended all children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews sports activities. She was also an avid Cub and Bears fan. She enjoyed watching birds especially cardinals. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where she was on the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of Italian American League. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin with Father Michael Andrejek officiating. Visitation will be private.
