Caroline M. Edmonds

Caroline M. Edmonds, 94, of Pekin passed away at 6:15 PM Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin. Caroline was born on September 1, 1918 in Pekin to Thaddeus and Lillian (Waechter) Mott. She married Raymond F. Edmonds on March 3, 1940. He passed away on July 13, 1993. Also preceding in death are her parents and two sisters, Johanna Mott and Virginia Phillip. Surviving is: one son, Thad R. (Jan) Edmonds of Dunlap, IL; one daughter, Carol Gluba of Pekin, IL; two grandchildren, Thad Raymond (Debbie) Edmonds of Cincinnati, OH and Nancy Todd of Farmington, IL; five great grandchildren, Jeffrey and Katherine Edmonds, Jacob, Kelsey and Mitchell Todd; one sister, Emily Wieburg of Pekin; one brother, Ernest Mott of Omaha, NE. Caroline was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church. She was the activity director at Pekin Hospital for twelve years retiring in 1977. Cremation will be accorded with inurnment in the St. Paul Episcopal Columbarium. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin.
