Camilla Godsey

Camilla Hoffman Godsey, 71 of Pekin passed away at 6:47 am, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria. Camilla was born March 22, 1942 in Peoria to J.Glen and Kathleen (Calhoun) Hoffman.She married Levi Godsey March 6, 2004 in Pekin.He survives Also surviving are one son, Alan (Nancy) Clark of Grayslake, IL; two daughters, Amy (Tony) Bell of Sherman, TX, Kathleen (Brian) Wertheimer of Charlotte, NC; one son-in-law, Steve Martin of Pekin; five grandchildren, Adam Martin, Zachary Clark, Peter Clark, Matthew Bell and Samuel Bell, and one sister, Carolyn Pappas of McLean, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Julie A. Martin. Camilla was a home health care aid for Kyle's Home Care in Pekin.She graduated from Pekin High School and attended Illinois Wesleyan University. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin. Camilla loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, games and working crossword puzzles. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, March 15, 2014 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin.Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2014 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin with an additional visitation from 9:30 am to 10:30 am Saturday prior to funeral service.Rev. Steve Welker will officiate.Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul United Church of Christ or American Cancer Society.
