"Bud" Adrian Brice Reining

Adrian Brice 'Bud' Reining, 89, of Green Valley, IL passed away at 11:35 PM Friday, September 1, 2017 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. Adrian was born on December 16, 1927 in Springfield, IL to Brice and Zelda (Large) Reining. He married Deloras Dickerson in 1948. He later married Joyce Linebaugh on September 11, 1959 in Peoria. She passed away on July 21, 1994. Also preceding are his parents, one granddaughter, Heather Tabbone, two brothers, Earl and Gale Reining and one sister, Clarice Verheaghe. Surviving are: one son, Brice 'Skipp' (Sue) Reining of Pekin; two daughters, Julianne (Bruce) Richie of O'Fallon, MO and Michele (Jim) Reese of East Peoria, IL; six grandchildren, Noelle (Corey) Marron, Brice A. Reining, Derek S. Reining, Bret A. Richie, Tyson Brice Richie and Meredith A. Tabbone; five great grandchildren, Hanley James, Everett Brice and Marlowe Sue Marron, Brice Alan and Brayden Evan Richie; one sister-in-law, Judy (Mark) Weber of Tremont, IL. Adrian was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Caterpillar, Inc. retiring in 1996. Adrian was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria and the Valley Chapel in Green Valley. He participated in the Senior Olympics for many years and won numerous medals. He enjoyed collecting antique cars and was an avid Cub fan. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 5th at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded after the funeral with inurnment in Green Valley Cemetery at 9:00 AM Thursday, September 7th. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army.
