Bonnie L. Harkleroad

Bonnie L. Harkleroad, 86, of Manito, IL passed away at 8:54 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Aperion Care in Morton, IL. Bonnie was born on February 9, 1937 in Pekin to Henry and Laverne (Cook) Schlottman. She married Ernest H. Harkleroad on March 2, 1964 in Pekin. He passed away on January 18, 2019. Also preceding in death are her parents and one brother, Larry Schlottman Surviving are: one son, Kevin Harkleroad of Manito, IL: three grandchildren, Chelsie Harkleroad, Heidi Harkleroad and Ben Harkleroad: five great grandchildren, Raylynn Harkleroad, Bradley Reese, Holden Reese, Hudson Reese and Braxton Harkleroad; sister-in-law, Cathy Harkleroad of Pekin; and several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was an avid bird watcher. She worked as a beautician for many years. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Forest City Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Bonnies arrangements. Memorial contirbutions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
