Beverly J. "Sis" Carrington

Beverly J. 'Sis' Carrington, 80 of Pekin, passed away at her home at 5:30 am, Sunday May 3, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to Roy & Hattie (Beal) Martin on September 23, 1939 in Pekin, IL. Bev married James Carrington on September 26, 1975. He preceded her in death April 27, 2005. She was also preceded in death by; her parents; one granddaughter, Juanita Carrington; and one brother, Raymond Martin. Bev is survived by; two sons, Norman Carrington of Pekin and Kenny McGlothlin of Goofy Ridge, IL; two grandchildren, Gage Carrington and Erin Henderson; one brother, Allen (Margaret) Martin Sr of Pekin; one sister, Virginia Davidson of Pekin; and one sister-in-law, Dee Martin of Pekin. She was a member of Central Life Church. She was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan. Bev loved playing cards and the game Aggravation.She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed. Private Services will be held with Rev. Keith Moore presiding. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
