Betty I. Ryan

Betty I. Ryan, 76, of Pekin and formerly of Martinsville, IL died at 1:50 am Sunday, January 09, 2011 at Pekin Manor. Betty was born February 19, 1934 in Martinsville, IL to George and Gladys (White) Bishop. She married Jack Ryan on February 18, 1962 in Martinsville. He died on June 27, 1982. Preceding in death are her parents, seven brothers and three sisters. Surviving are: one son, Robert R. 'Bob' Ryan of Brooksville, FL; one daughter, Ilene D. Ryan of Marshall, IL; three sisters, Linda Henderson and Marie Koenig both of Pekin and Wilma (Donald) Schotts of Martinsville. Betty was a member of the Island Grove Baptist Church in Martinsville, Eastern Star Sainte Grace Chapter #496 and American Legion Post #44 Auxiliary in Pekin. She was a cook at the Hen House Restaurant in Martinsville for many years.
