Betty L. Meisinger

Betty L. Meisinger, 94 of Peoria, passed away at 3:00 am, Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born to Clifford A. and Josephine J. (Schneider) Lawrence on December 27, 1930 in Princeville, IL. She married Harold Meisinger on November 17, 1957 in Princeville, IL. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2014. She was also preceded by her parents; one son, Gregory; two brothers, Clifford A. and Jerry A.; and two sisters, Ima J. Wear, Leona M. Ralph. Betty is survived by: one grandson, Nicholas Allen (Jamie) Meisinger of San Diego, CA; three great-grandchildren; Penny, Albert and Rose; one sister, Charlotte A. Harlan of Payson, AZ. and one daughter-in-law, Amy Meisinger of Bakersfield, CA. Betty loved the Lord Jesus and shared that love with family and friends. She enjoyed expressing her artistic abilities in various ways, especially creating handmade cards for her great-grandchildren. Betty worked for the City of Pekin until retirement. A celebration of life service will be held at The Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria. Memorials may be made to LSS Living Foundation Senior Services.
