Betty L. Byram

Betty L. Byram, 90, of Pekin, IL and formerly of Danville, IL passed away at 5:14 PM Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Pekin Manor. Betty was born April 7, 1926 in Mitchell, IN to Hobert and Hazel (Barnes) Hack. She married Gordon E. Byram on August 31, 1946. He passed away on May 29, 2001. Also preceding in death are her parents, one daughter, Janice Byram Beck, one son, Wayne Byram and one grandson, Timothy Jones. Surviving are: one daughter, Karla (David) Jones of Pekin; four grandchildren, Matthew (Wendy) Beck, Jason Beck, Christopher D. (Ana) Jones and Captain Andrew B. Jones; six grandchildren, Jaini, Haidin, Corey and Evan Beck, Ethan and Lola Jones. She was a member of the St. James Methodist Church in Danville. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, knitting and playing bridge. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2016 in the community room at Pekin Estes 1520 El Camino Dr. Inurnment in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville at a later date. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
