Bertha Lucille Epkins

B. Lucille Epkins, 92, of Pekin, IL passed away at 9:27 AM Saturday, February 09, 2019 at Unitypoint Health Pekin. Lucille was born on February 27, 1926 in Pekin to Manford and Edith (Willis) Watson. She married Raymond Epkins on July 3, 1946 in Pekin. He passed away on April 29, 2006. Also preceding in death are one daughter, Vickie Long and one brother, Bill Watson. Surviving are: one son, Michael Epkins of Pekin and one son-in-law, Jerry Long of Saraland, AL; two grandsons, Tommy Long, Jason (Angela) Long and one great grandson, Jordan Long. Lucille was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Rev. Dr. Brian Byrne officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ.
