Bernice M. Armnyak

Bernice M. Armnyak, 92 of Pekin passed at 9:37 pm, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin. She was born November 23, 1926 to Charles and Dolly (Stuck) Mann in Wyandotte, Mich. She married Stanley Armnyak on February 20, 1946 in Wyandotte, MI. He passed away December 16, 2000. Bernice was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by; two daughters, Darlene (Terry) Collier and Connie (Maurie) Guerra, both of Pekin; four grandchildren, Lynette McElhaney of Cape Coral, FL, Teresa (Mike) Hill of Pekin, Angela (Jeff) Theleritis of Pekin, and Leanna (John) Byrnes of Pekin; and nine great grandchildren. Bernice was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where she was a member of the Adult choir. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in many area nursing homes. Private services have been held with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pekin.
