Bernadette Wilder

Bernadette Wilder, 75, of Pekin passed away at 9:17 pm Sunday, October 14, 2012 at her home with her children at her side. She was born on March 10, 1937 in LaSalle, Illinois to Edward J. and Clara (Dutkiewicz) Krolak. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are: two sons, Michael (Gail) Wilder of Davenport, IA and Deacon Mark (Susan) Wilder of Pekin; one daughter, Melissa Redding of Pekin, IL; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one brother, Edward (Patricia) Krolak of Peru, IL. Bernadette was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where she was a lector and member of the Council of Catholic Women. She graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Science in Education. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 18, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Timothy Nolan officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin. A Rosary service will be at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pekin.
