Barbara Ann Sleeth

Barbara Ann Sleeth, 65 of Marquette Heights passed away at 11:18 am, Thursday November 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Peoria to Gilbert & Elizabeth (Russell) Axley on August 9, 1957. She married William Sleeth on November 6, 1982 in East Peoria. Barb was preceded in death by; her parents. She is survived by; her husband William; one son, Darin (Kim) Stewart of Washington, IL; one grandson, Jakob Stewart; and two sisters, Lisa (Ron) Monahan of Alabama and Sue (Tom) Nauman of Florida. Barb worked at various jobs, including CEFCU, OSF, 4B Elevator Components and Par A Dice Casino as a cake decorator. She enjoyed Camping and the many wonderful friends she made while at the Lake. She was an amazing cook, who savored watching the food channel to gather new recipes for her family to try. Barbs greatest treasure was her family, especially her grandson. Many in the family believe that her dogs topped her list of most favorite. Her funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin with Deacon Mark Wilder officiating. A visitation will be held the evening before from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2022 also at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded after the services. Burial will take place at a later date in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the A.S.P.C.A.
