Audrey Cammack

Audrey A. Cammack, 82 of Normal, IL formerly of East Peoria, IL passed away at 7:53 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Sugar Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center.

Audrey was born on November 27, 1942 in Leon, IA to Wendell and Joan Turner. She married Lawrence Mitchell Cammack on September 2, 1967. He passed away January 18, 2012.

Also preceding in death are her parent, two brothers, Charles, Richard and one sister, Mary.

Surviving are: son, Thomas (Chris) Cammack of Peoria, IL; daughter, Jennifer (Mike) James of Pekin; five grandchildren, Nathan, Naomi and Jared James, Celena Hoffstatter and Oakley Schulze; four brothers, Van, Robert, Raymond and Max; two sisters, Jane and Sue; many nieces and nephews.

Audrey was a librarian for Washington Public Schools and was a programmer at Caterpillar. She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed quilting, baking, reading and camping.

Cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Aubrey’s Life will be from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Pekin First Nazarene. Inurnment will be at Salem South Cemetery at Salem, IA at a later date. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Audrey’s arrangements.
