Arley Boyd Cummings

Arley Boyd Cummings, 76, of Spring Hill, FL formerly of North Pekin passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008 in the emergency room at Spring Hill Hospital. Arley was born on September 26, 1932 in Sevier County, TN to William and Nancy Ann (Johnson) Cummings. He married Wilma Hampton on April 3, 1954 in Peoria, IL. Preceding in death are two sons, six brothers and one sister. Surviving are: his wife, Wilma of Spring Hill, FL; three sons, Randy Cummings of Clearwater, FL, Steven Cummings of Spring Hill, FL and Joel (Trula) Cummings of Pekin; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Arley worked at Corn Products in Pekin for 17 years retiring in 1969. Following retirement he owned A & W Antiques and Blue Diamond Traders both in Pekin. He was a Army Veteran of the Korean War. Arley was a member of the McArthur Drive Baptist Church in North Pekin. He was a member of the Tazewell County Numismatic Society and a former member of Pekin Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge. He was a former member of Empire Lodge #126 AF & AM and the Scottish Rite Arley enjoyed making jewelry, fishing and hunting. He loved his dog, Murph.
