Anthony Russell "Tony" Sales

Anthony Russell "Tony" Sales, 53 of Pekin, passed away at 6:50 am, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria surrounded by family. Tony was born to Edwin and Janice (Roberson) Sales in Peoria on April 9, 1971. He married Angela Austin in Pekin on October 21, 1995. He was preceded in death by his mother. Tony is survived by; his wife Angie; his father, Ed; one son, Justin (Ashley) Sales of Russellville, AR; one daughter, Sydney (Ty Garmon) Sales of Pekin; one sister, Holly (Bill) Thompson of Marquette Heights. Tony was anxiously looking forward to the birth of his first grandson this coming March, Eden Anthony Lee Garmon. He served in the Army National Guard. Tony was the owner of Tonys Floorcovering, Inc. He was an avid reader, and a researcher of all things debatable. He believed one never needed a reason to have a party and loved spending time with his friends. He could spend hours chasing down the best bargain and he was proud of it. Tony was a Guild Leader in an online gaming community and played with and against people all over the world. Gamers are mourning the loss of the gamer, Isengard. Tony was a wonderful provider for his family. Providing for them was his main goal in life, and he succeeded at it well. He was a very good man. There will be a public Celebration of Tonys life for his friends and family starting at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 8th, 2025 at the Peoria Sportsman Club in Manito, IL. Please come and honor the memory of Tonys wonderful life. A private memorial service for the family will be held for Tony on January 11, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or The Gift of Hope Community Foundation.
