Amy K. Kamp

Amy K. Kamp, 50, of Mapleton, IL and formerly of Green Valley, passed away at 10:35 AM Tuesday, August 07, 2018 at her home. Amy was born on January 27, 1968 in Peoria, IL. Her parents are Earl and Dorla (Konisek) Talbott. She married Scott Kamp on November 3, 1995 at the Groveland Wedding Chapel. She was preceded in death by one brother, Doug Talbott. Surviving are: her parents, Earl and Dorla; her husband, Scott; one sister, Diane (Russell) DeLong of Green Valley; one niece, Megan (Evan) Fleming; and one nephew, Clint (Meghan) DeLong. Amy was a graduate of Green Valley High School. She was the office manager for Jim Shank's Auto Sales last working in May, 2018.She enjoyed summer trips with her friends, especially the ones to Jamaica and St. Louis, and their excursions to barbecue festivals and competitions. Amy and Scott built a log cabin from the ground up. They enjoyed their private time, especially in the comfort of their own home. Amy was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A visitation for Amy will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin.
