Amos Moses Kemper

Amos Moses Kemper, 26 of Pekin passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his sisters home. He was born to Mark and Sharon (Purdy) Kemper on October 19, 1995 in Pekin. Amos was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Sharon; his girlfriend Natalie Greene; one brother, Mark Kemper of Pekin; four sisters, Tina (Michael) Smith of Pekin, Jody Kemper of Pekin, Amy (Josh Hardwick) Woodruff of Pekin, and Kelly Johnson of Pekin; his best friend, Jimmy Smith; his homie from birth niece, Madilyne Smith; nieces and nephews, Caitlyne, Ava, Draven, McKenzie, Mckarly, Kasen, Zeke, Olivia, Rylee, Alayna, Bregan, Zander, Zavier; and one great nephew, Ian. Amos worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken as a cook. Famous Amos, "just like the cookie", was a unique soul. He was full of love, non-judgmental and always forgave everyone no matter what. Amos always succeeded in making sure people smiled simply by walking in the room, he loved everyone to the fullest no matter what. He made everyone he'd meet feel special in the most genuine way. Amos was often found around town on his skateboard with his guitar strapped to his shoulder, his bright blue eyes shining for all to see. He was a great cook, especially his mouth watering steaks. He loved music, and often attended music festivals. Amos was the most authentic, pure soul anyone could ever meet and will be greatly missed by all those lucky enough to cross his path. Cremation rites have been accorded.
