Amanda J. "Mandi" Stewart

Amanda J. 'Mandi' Stewart, 28, of Marquette Heights, IL passed away at 11:20 AM Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria with her family at her side. Mandi was born August 27, 1986 in Peoria, IL to John and Brenda (Bevels) Stewart. She married Christopher Lamprecht on May 31, 2014. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother. Surviving are: her husband, Chris Lamprecht of Marquette Heights; her parents, John and Brenda Stewart of Marquette Heights; two brothers David ( Katie) Stewart of Lacrosse, WI and Bryan Stewart of Marquette Heights; maternal grandfather, Joe Bevels of Pekin; niece, Annalyn Stewart and nephew, Parker Stewart both of Fort Rucker, AL. Mandi was a member of First Baptist Church in Pekin. Some of the things she enjoyed doing were crafts, photography and listing to music, especially the Beatles. Her love of animals was shown by her support of ASPCA. Her most loved pet was her chemo kitty, Prudence. Services for Mandi will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Rev. Brad Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, March 6 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Haven cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the NF Foundation (Neurofibromatosis Network) or the Hult Center for Healthy Living.
