Allen W. Serwise

Allen W. Serwise, 85, of Pekin passed away at 11:12 am Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Pekin Hospital. Allen was born October 4, 1924 in Marshall, IL to Howard A. and Ruby I. (Carpenter) Serwise. He married N. Frances Duzan on March 14, 1953 in Marshall, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son and an only brother. Surviving is: his wife of Pekin; three daughters, Cheryl (Mark) Cooper of Pekin, Linda Melega of Peoria and Gail (David) Farrand of Jackson, MI; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Allen was veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He worked at Caterpillar, Inc for 33 years before retiring. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Canton, IL.
