Alice R. Lester

Alice R. Lester, 69 of Pekin passed away at 5:00 am, Monday, September 16, 2024 at Timbercreek Rehab and Health Care in Pekin. She was born on June 30, 1955 in Plant City, FL to Jack and Velma (Austin) Albritton. She married William Thomas Lester in Tampa, FL on March 21, 1985. Her parents and one sister Joyce Nelson preceded her in death. Alice is survived by her husband, Tom; one daughter, Tina Dunlap of Pekin; two grandchildren, Abbie Lester and Zoe Pecharich; and two brothers, Jim (Joyce) Albritten of Barto, FL and Roger Scott of Tampa, Fl. She also leaves behind her best buddy Chihuahua, Gizmo. She enjoyed shopping, puzzles and watching tv. She loved to be at home, and was a very good cook. She was always there for her family, and always put them first. Per her request, there will be no services. Cremation has been accorded.
