Celina Vidoni, 84, of Pekin passed way at 10:40 am Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Hopedale Medical Complex. Celina was born to Giuseppe and Anna (Ponta) Ermacora on July 24, 1925 in Treppo Grande, Italy. She married Dino A. Vidoni on February 4, 1948. He died August 25, 1997. She is survived by one son, Joseph (Cheryl) Vidoni of Peoria; and many nieces and nephews in Italy, Luxemburg and North America. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Celina worked in the maintenance department at Pekin Insurance. She retired in 1990 after 20 years of service. Celina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. She enjoyed gardening. Funeral InformationA funeral mass will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 9, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will from 9:00 am to 10:45 am at her church prior to funeral service on Saturday, Jan. 9th. Father Tim Nolan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pekin.
