Robert Lindy Eertmoed, 82, of Las Vegas, NV and formerly of Pekin passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV.

Lindy was born on June 8, 1927 in Pekin, IL to Fred and Emma (Von Boeckman) Eertmoed. He married Marianne Grajkowski on August 3, 1973 in Pekin.

Surviving are his wife, Marianne of Las Vegas, NV and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death are his parents, nine brothers, Dick, Harry, Charlie, Louie, Ernie Sr., Fred, Henry, Howard and Carl, three sisters, Mae Tibbs, Irma Cooper and Doris Falkingham and two infant siblings.

Lindy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict.

Funeral Information

Memorial services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Second Reformed Church. Cremation has been accorded. Henderson Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
