James A. Bolen

James A. Bolen, 67, of Little America, IL passed away at 11:33 pm Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL.

Jim was born September 23, 1941 in Pekin to Theodore and Evetta Ruth (Woodapple) Bolen. He married Jeannie Gardner on February 8, 1962. She died May 21, 1975.

Preceding in death are his parents, wife and two brothers, Ted and Kenny Bolen.

Surviving are: four sons, Doug Bolen of Pekin, Darin (Kathi) Bolen of Pekin, Christian A. Bolen of Emden and Chayne A. Bolen of San Jose, IL; eighteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was a member of Laborer’s Local 231 in Pekin. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin. Rev. Terry Edele will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded.
